October is breast cancer awareness month. It's a great thing done for breast cancer. However, when you've been diagnosed, every month is breast cancer awareness month.
I mentioned before that bras not usually my brand on here...i thought I would focus on feet and ballet, shoes and socks. However, I decided to include bras with a portion of profit going to breast cancer charities and research ongoing.
I've been back and forth in my mind whether to share this. But I've decided I will. I was diagnosed in 2019. I've been on a treatment called Tamoxifen for 5 years. It's exhausting, but I do the best I can for myself and also keep on with my goals and projects. I had a left mastectomy with immediate reconstruction (my implant is awesome). I have a scar. I didn't want to sell bras on here as I didn't want to sexualise my breast cancer. Then I realised, I won't be. I will be claiming my right to be like anyone else regardless of my cancer and fake titty. I might even advertise the bras on my body in photos. I'm proud of me. I'm beautiful. I don't feel comfortable showing my breasts on here, but I know it's such a respectful community mostly, that you all accept we have different focuses to sell and lines of comfort. You are all beautiful and what one person doesn't want to so another seller will.
I know there won't be only me on here with such a diagnosis. Know you are beautiful. The scars are a story of your strength. I send each one of you a big hug. Xx
