If you read this, please keep in mind that I have never written a blog before and don't know if what I have written even qualifications as a blog.
Although my username isn't familiar with you and that I have recently joined. You may guess who I am. I am a buyer, but I’m not what you call a 'conventional buyer'. By that I mean, I doesn't make many purchases here. I don't really view profiles, follow sellers or other buyers or even messages first. I tend to keep to myself. You may ask why someone like me is on this site then. That is a valid question to ask.
When I first joined ATW. My goal like every other buyer, was to purchase that accommodated to my kink. It turned out that my kink isn't all that popular on here. In the way that, they hadn't heard about it before. Or that because what was involved, it was impossible to pull off. I wrote on the dash, where sellers gave it a like. But that was just it. I did meet sellers that were able to accommodate to my request and I will always be forever thankful to those sellers.
I felt like I was wasting seller's time from being on this site. That I was going to be one of those 'lurkers' by just coming to this site every day and not making any purchases.
I really enjoyed this site, and it wasn't the fact that it is a fet**h site. The aspects of the enjoyment of this site were the people that were on here. I can say for everyone on here, seller's and buyer's alike. That you have meet someone that you have either connected with or just have had a pleasant interaction with them. For this reason, my perspective to this site changed. That is what this site was to me, what it means to me. A seller isn't just a 'seller', a buyer isn't just a 'buyer'. I didn't really think that for a site mainly based on selling worn items was going to be anything like this. When you come to a site like this, for me. My first thoughts were you pay for something and that is that. The deal is done. Wham, bang, thank you ma'am. It didn't even occur to me that you would interact with someone on a different level. It truly is refreshing.
The dedication that you sellers put into this site, is just down right outstanding. Whether it is a post on the dash, to a custom that you go above and beyond with, or how you have written your bio and not to mention, your interaction with buyers. You truly are a remarkable group of individuals. You don't just do this for the money. You have a pa**ion towards each and everything that you do. The length that you go to, to satisfy a buyer. I have my utmost respect for each and every one of you.
It opened my eyes, that this site had more to offer than just a buy and sell site.
With that in mind, I wanted to contribute to my presents on being on this site. I did compet*tions, give aways, tips, MissATW and loyalty cards to show my appreciation. I just wanted give back to the community, as so many sellers here work so hard every day. Where that is on here, work or just their real lives. You sellers are truly amazing people and cannot be thanked enough. I love how this site is there for one another. I've seen sellers and buyers stick up for other sellers and buyers. I see how appreciative you can be, when someone tips you or acknowledges the commitment you have done for them. I've seen when times have been hard for someone, this community stands by one another and the support that every gives.
It is even the buyers too. I've seen many sellers that have been disrespected. But 9 out of 10, the support that the buyers give to the sellers. It is just amazing that they care so much. These are all factors that makes this site truly unique, I haven't come across another site that even compares.
It's scary to let people see the real you, even when it's your own family and friends. But here at ATW we are surrounded by the ones who will not judge, the ones who let us celebrate our imperfections. Maybe encourage us to let our true selves shine through.
Here at ATW, you are free to be yourself.
Like most people on here. I have been scammed. It can really affect you. Of course I have been annoyed by it. I have taken sometime away from here and while I was a way, I had an epiphany. I forgot what ATW was to me. It made me remember, that to me ATW wasn't about purchasing from sellers. To me, it is and will always be about showing my appreciation towards sellers and buyers, to the commitment that you put into this site. I know that I will never get the opportunity to work with so many sellers on here. But it doesn't stop me including sellers in give aways/tips. I see all the hard work that you do on here and it doesn't go unnoticed.
I feel that you aren't certainly thanked enough and get the recognition that you deserve. I, myself cannot thank everyone enough for the dedications that you give to this site. Each and every one of you, are what makes this site for what it is.
So keep up the good work.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. It is much appreciated.
