My name is Alaya, aka @Alayastarr, and this is my second time on ATW. During my first visit, a seller had seen some of my squirting listings and messaged me to ask more about it; that’s when I decided that I’d really like to write about it for the community.
This might seem counter-intuitive considering the title of this blog, but I have to start by saying that I am by no means an expert on squirting. That’s not to say I don’t know what I’m talking about! All the information to follow comes from my own personal experiences as well as extensive research; however, my word is not gospel, and I’m always happy to have a friendly conversation if your experiences or ideas differ from mine.
Until I was 20 years old, I firmly believed that I couldn’t squirt. Not that I had ever really tried; I just thought it was something ridiculously exaggerated and unachievable, that was only ever seen in porn. But I was quite happy with my ability to enjoy myself, so I wasn’t particularly concerned about it.
As a result, the first time I made myself squirt was a complete accident. I wasn’t really sure what had happened, except that my orgasm had felt so much more intense than usual – and there was a puddle on my bed. It quickly dawned on me that it was my first squirting orgasm, and just like that I was off!
By this point, I was sure of how I liked my pleasure, so I used this to inform my new explorations and before long I had mastered squirting whenever I wanted to (which was every time I masturbated!) I can only speak for myself, but the reason I enjoy being able to squirt so much is because it feels INFINITELY more intense and pleasurable. It makes my orgasms last longer, and it also seemed to unlock my ability to have multiple orgasms – but that’s a topic for a different blog.
Now, this is where my research comes in as well as anecdotal evidence of my own experiences. Without getting too political – again, a topic for a different blog – unsurprisingly much less information is known about female pleasure than our male counterparts. Such is the ignorance among some that in 2016, pornography portraying female ejaculation was temporarily made illegal in the UK. And why? There were claims that it was equivalent to urination and therefore considered obscene. Which opens up to a whole host of other questions. First of all…
In short, no. There have been one or two studies that suggest the liquid is released from the bladder, but these were unreliable for various reasons, including a very small sample size. Additionally, analysis of female ejaculation has shown that it does not contain a high enough level of the two main chemicals present in urine. Not to mention the presence of PSA, a substance also produced upon stimulation of the male prostate.
But don’t worry if the science is a little confusing. Speak to women who squirt, and they’ll have their own experiences to tell you about. I for one can say for certain that my ejaculate has neither the same smell or appearance as urine. I’m also still able to pee after I’ve masturbated. So that settles it! Well, for me anyway.
This is a bit more of a grey area. While anyone with a female reproductive system has the mechanism, for want of a better word, to ejaculate, whether they will ever achieve it is a different story. But that’s okay! Just like every vagina looks different, they all work slightly differently too. There are estimated to be anywhere between 10% and 54% of people that can achieve squirting in some form. And it doesn’t really matter whether you can or not, as long as you are satisfied (pun intended) with the pleasure you experience, whether at your own hand or a partner’s.
Just to revisit what I said at the beginning; I am no expert. I can’t guarantee to teach anyone to squirt, and even what I’m about to explain might be different for other people. However, it is a question I am asked quite often, so I’ll try to explain how it feels to me.
As a starting point, you should be absolutely sure what kind of stimulation you enjoy the most. For me it’s a vibe on my clit, for others it might be penetration, massaging the G-spot, or something else. Once you get to the edge, try to hold off for as long as you can – WITHOUT removing the stimulation. You’re not trying not to cum, just to wait until the last moment.
With the continued stimulation, you should soon be tumbling into climax. When this happens, the best way I can describe it is to push into the orgasm. Keep the stimulation on as long as you can possibly stand, and really focus on feeling the orgasm.
That all sounds very abstract, I know, but that’s the best way I can describe it. It might not work for you, or you might describe it differently; either way, I’d love to chat about it!
When deciding to write this blog, I set out to hopefully make the topic of female ejaculation a little clearer. I hope I’ve done that for some people, but even if not, I have enjoyed sharing my own experiences. The takeaway message is that there is no right or wrong way to experience pleasure – those of us who can squirt should not be ashamed of it, and those who can’t, should not be hard on themselves! My dream is that everyone knows what they like – whatever that may be - and can go out there and get it!
